Measurement Worksheets
Begin with direct length comparisons, then choose a measurement skill by what the child needs to understand. Read clocks to the hour and half hour in Grade 1, or in five-minute steps in Grade 2. Use length, liquid-volume, and mass stories to interpret given amounts. In Grade 3, count equal square tiles to find area or follow all four sides to find rectangle perimeter. In Grade 5, count cubes in one layer and use the number of equal layers to find volume. Read each worksheet guide for its exact scope: clock reading does not assess AM or PM, and the cube-layer diagrams show one layer from above. Ruler reading and unit conversions are not included in this collection yet.
