Grades 1–2 · addition fact fluency. This printable activity gives children something concrete to count, color, draw, cross out, match, or explain. It provides focused practice for 1.OA.C.6; 2.OA.B.2 and a matching answer key for the exact generated set.
Each maze combines fact fluency with a pencil path. Learners solve nearby facts and move only through boxes whose sums equal the target within 10 or 20.
Solve before drawing. Mark each matching sum lightly, then connect touching boxes from START to FINISH. The answer key highlights the route while preserving the exact same equations.
Read the first direction together and let the child complete the physical action before writing a number. Ask, “How do you know?” after one item. That short explanation reveals whether the picture, model, and equation make sense together. Use crayons, a pencil, small counters, or a straightedge when the activity calls for them.
